Imprints of Lower Socioeconomic Class in English Speaking Anxieties and Academic Performance of Rural and Urban Students

The students’ socioeconomic status has acquired importance for elaborating differences in their educational outcomes. Various personal and contextual factors that affect academic performance correlate with students' backgrounds. Likewise, rural urban environments also impact achievements behaviours. Language learning starts from home; therefore, classes residential environment can play a conspicuous role language learning. However, speaking skills are complex induce anxiety students. English is the medium of instruction most countries higher education. Therefore, researchers’ interest increased English-speaking anxieties at international level. lower class students expected to have negative behaviours anxieties. this study examined on performance. conveniently available 705 university filled out an online questionnaire about class, anxieties, results revealed insignificant direct grades. perception poor mediated effect impacts were significant study's findings implications reducing adverse effects
